Although biased towards traditional song, the club books a wide range of singers and musicians, and on Open Evenings we enjoy a variety of musical styles, but with one common denominator: We love wrapping our tonsils around a good chorus – Herga’s “Wall of Sound” is world famous.
There is normally one guest a month (occasionally more when people are on limited tours) interspersed with Singers’ Nights (when everyone has a chance to perform). In addition we have the occasional optional Theme Nights, a Charity fund raising night, a Carol Singing event, and on Boxing Day the Herga Mummers continue the tradition based on the Middlesex Plays.
