How to claim your own event on folkcalendar.com

If your event is listed on folkcalendar.com but you didn’t add this yourself, you can claim the event and start managing the details yourself. In fact we actively encourage this as it helps ensure the event information is transparent and upto date.

Once you have claimed an event you can easily embed events on your own website.

Claiming an event is very straightforward!

Step 1 - Login or Register a folkcalendar.com account

  • Step 2 - Complete the Claim form on an event

    Each unclaimed event has a Claim form. Just add your details - some of which will be automatically populated - and click 'Claim'

    Step 3 - Review

    We will review your claim and as long as all appears to be in order we will assign you management of the event listing. You can then edit listings and add more information including web links, phone numbers, images and weekly variations (eg guest performers)

    Step 4 - Embed

    Once you own events listings, you can embed your managed events on your own website Get your personal folkcalendar.com Embed Codes here. You can also find this page link in the footer of every page and event on our website
