At midnight around 40 swingers walk the Old Town High Street swinging burning wire cages round their heads on chains. At the end they throw them into the harbour, and fireworks follow.

The swinging starts at midnight along the Old Town High Street, between the Mercat Cross and the Cannon, and ends with the fireballs thrown into the harbour. The street can close once it is full, so arrive early.
