Stalls fill the streets of the town centre from about 09:00, with an information stall in Newton Square. The streets are closed to traffic all day, so use the car parks at the Recreation Ground or on Old Tiverton Road.

About

Bampton has held a fair since at least the 13th century, and Henry III granted its charter in 1258. It was long known for its sales of livestock and ponies; today street stalls, a funfair, music and entertainers take over the town on the last Thursday of October, ending with fireworks.
