Cammag, a cousin of hurling and shinty, was once the Manx national game but died out in the early 20th century. It has been revived as an annual North against South match on Boxing Day, played with home made sticks and very few rules.

Tynwald Hill
The match is played on the Tynwald Fairfield beside Tynwald Hill at 14:00 and is usually over within the hour. Anyone may join in with a stick, and players and spectators head to the Tynwald Inn afterwards for Manx music.
