Sandy Denny had one of the finest voices of the British folk revival. She sang with the Strawbs and then Fairport Convention, where she helped steer the band towards traditional English song. She wrote Who Knows Where the Time Goes?, formed Fotheringay and made four solo albums before her death after a fall at the age of 31.
