Tim Hart started singing in folk clubs with Maddy Prior in 1966, and the pair made three albums together before joining Steeleye Span. For twelve years they were the backbone of the band, with Hart on guitar, dulcimer, banjo and more. He later left music and settled on La Gomera in the Canary Islands as a writer and photographer.
