Roy Williamson founded the Corrie Folk Trio in Edinburgh in 1962 and went on to form the Corries with Ronnie Browne. He wrote Flower of Scotland, now sung at Scotland’s international matches. He also designed the combolin, a double instrument the duo played on stage, and he performed until late 1989.
