Fay Hield

Fay Hield is a traditional singer and ethnomusicologist who became Professor of Music at the University of Sheffield in 2023. Her research looked at how English folk singing builds community, and she sang with The Full English, the band that won two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2014.
