Pete Coe turned professional in 1971 as half of Pete and Chris Coe, then played in the New Victory Band and in Bandoggs with Nic Jones and Tony Rose. He sings, writes and plays melodeon, banjo and bouzouki, and his Wizard of Alderley Edge is one of the best known songs of the revival. In 2016 he and his wife Sue received the EFDSS Gold Badge.
