Michael Chapman

Michael Chapman was a Leeds guitarist and songwriter whose playing mixed folk with jazz, rock, Indian music and ragtime. His records for Harvest, among them Fully Qualified Survivor with Mick Ronson on guitar, won him a devoted following. He toured and recorded for half a century, making dozens of albums, and a 2012 tribute album brought together younger admirers such as Thurston Moore.
