Angus R Grant

Angus R Grant, son of the left handed Lochaber fiddler Aonghas Grant, was playing tunes within days of being given a quarter sized fiddle at four. As the front line fiddler of Shooglenifty he helped create the Highland dance fusion nicknamed acid croft, and their debut Venus in Tweeds became a Greentrax bestseller. He was just as happy at a pub session in Glenuig as on a festival stage abroad.
