Ashley Hutchings

Ashley Hutchings, often called the Guv’nor, played bass in the first Fairport Convention and then helped to found Steeleye Span and the Albion Band. Few people did more to bring traditional English music and electric instruments together. He has also led dance bands, staged shows about folk history and championed morris music.
