Bob Hart

Bob Hart ran away to sea at fifteen and picked up many of his songs on east coast fishing boats. He was wounded at the Somme, then settled at Snape in Suffolk, working at the Maltings for nearly forty years. His strong, rich voice needed no microphone, and Topic released Songs From Suffolk, recorded in his home in 1972.
