Bobby MacLeod was a Tobermory accordionist who began on miniature bagpipes at four and earned a BBC solo spot after his mother wrote to the corporation. His band was a White Heather Club favourite and toured Canada and America. In 1958 he returned to the family hotel, but he kept recording and ran the ceilidh after the Tobermory Games for the rest of his life.
