Chris Sherburn

Chris Sherburn grew up in the Sherburn family, one of Yorkshire’s well known folk music families, with a mother who ran a folk club for over twenty years. He took to Irish music as a teenager and became a fine Anglo concertina player. Since meeting Denny Bartley at Whitby Folk Festival in 1993 he has toured Europe and America with him, in Last Night’s Fun and now as a trio with Emily Sanders.
