Cyril Poacher

Cyril Poacher worked on farms around Blaxhall in Suffolk and began singing at the Ship Inn there in the late 1920s, where he became the heart of its Saturday night singing. Many of his songs, including The Nutting Girl, came from his grandfather and mother, and Topic released his album The Broomfield Wager.
