Davy Graham was a guitarist of rare range who brought blues, jazz and Middle Eastern and Indian music into the British folk scene. His instrumental Anji became a rite of passage for acoustic players, and he is credited with popularising the DADGAD tuning. His adventurous records of the early 1960s influenced Bert Jansch, Martin Carthy and many more.
