Francis McPeake was a Belfast tram conductor who became a photographer. He learned the pipes from the blind piper John O’Reilly and won the Belfast Feis in 1909. Peter Kennedy recorded him with his son Francie in 1952, and the McPeakes became famous for songs such as Will You Go Lassie Go.
