Jean Redpath

Jean Redpath was one of the great interpreters of Scots song. She moved to America in the early 1960s and built a career there, later recording a long series of albums of the songs of Robert Burns with the composer Serge Hovey. She taught at universities on both sides of the Atlantic and was made an MBE.
