Jim McCann

Jim McCann left medical studies in Dublin for folk music. With the Ludlow Trio he had an Irish number one, The Sea Around Us, and he joined The Dubliners in 1974. His solo recording of Grace spent 33 weeks in the Irish charts. Throat cancer later took his singing voice, but he kept travelling with The Dubliners as guitarist, photographer and compère.
