Johnny Collins

Johnny Collins grew up in Norwich and learned the guitar in London folk and jazz clubs while serving in the army, later singing in Singapore and Hong Kong. After leaving the forces in 1968 he sang full time and became one of the best loved voices of sea songs and shanties. He died while on tour in Gdańsk.
