Luke Kelly was a founder member of The Dubliners and one of the most powerful voices in Irish folk music. Raised on Sheriff Street in Dublin’s north inner city, he spent time in England as a young man, learning songs in the folk clubs and forming his political views. He died young, and his recordings of Raglan Road and The Auld Triangle are still treasured.
