Martin Graebe is an independent researcher, writer and singer who has long studied Sabine Baring-Gould’s song collecting in Devon and Cornwall. His book As I Walked Out won the Katharine Briggs Folklore Award. He followed it with The Forgotten Songs of the Upper Thames, and sings traditional songs in harmony with his wife, Shan.
