Martin Hayes

Martin Hayes grew up in a musical family in Maghera, East Clare, and learned the fiddle from his father P.J. Hayes, longtime leader of the Tulla Céilí Band. He won six All Ireland fiddle titles, played with the Tulla as a teenager, and later moved to Chicago. Today he is a member of The Gloaming, the celebrated Irish and American group.
