Mike Harding

Mike Harding comes from Crumpsall in Manchester and has mixed folk song and comedy across a long career as a singer, songwriter, writer and broadcaster. His single The Rochdale Cowboy reached the UK charts in 1975. From 1997 to 2012 he presented the weekly folk programme on BBC Radio 2, and after that he carried on with his own internet programme, The Mike Harding Folk Show.
