Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh was born on Inis Oírr in the Aran Islands and sings in Irish and English as well as playing the flute. For many years she was the lead singer of Danú, her solo albums include Foxglove and Fuchsia, and she made Dual with Julie Fowlis.
