Nick Drake made three quiet, beautifully made albums for Island Records: Five Leaves Left, Bryter Layter and Pink Moon. His unusual guitar tunings and soft, understated voice found few listeners in his lifetime. He died at his family home in Warwickshire aged 26, and his reputation has grown steadily ever since.
