Paddy Clancy

Paddy Clancy was the eldest of the singing Clancy brothers, and his bandmates called him the strong, organised one. After wartime service in the RAF and a spell in Canada, he helped form the group in Greenwich Village, and they went on to sing for President Kennedy at the White House. He later farmed cattle near Carrick-on-Suir and rejoined the others for reunion tours.
