Reg Hall has spent more than fifty years playing and researching traditional music. He played with Irish musicians in postwar London, recorded players such as Scan Tester, and played with The Rakes and with Bampton Morris. For Topic he helped produce Paddy in the Smoke and curated The Voice of the People, and his history A Few Tunes of Good Music traces Irish music in London.
