Carmarthen marks St David’s Day with a grand parade through the town centre on the Saturday nearest 1 March, from St Peter’s Church to Guildhall Square. Residents and visitors are encouraged to walk with flags and bells, and the weekend around it brings Welsh music, storytelling, crafts and a St David’s Day food and drink festival.
