Roads through the village close from 17:00 and the processions go along the High Street from about 18:30. The fireworks are at about 21:00 in a field by the village, for which tickets are needed.

About

East Hoathly and Halland Carnival Society holds its bonfire night on the Saturday before Remembrance Sunday and marks Armistice Night 1918 rather than the Gunpowder Plot. Blazing poppies are carried to the bonfire, one for each parishioner lost in the two world wars, and 2025 was billed as the hundredth carnival.
