Beach opposite Pelham Crescent

The torchlit procession sets off at about 19:15 and winds through the town centre and the Old Town, ending on the beach opposite Pelham Crescent, where the bonfire is lit and the fireworks start at about 21:15. Timings depend on the weather.

About

Hastings Borough Bonfire Society was founded in 1995 and holds its bonfire night in October, before the busy Sussex bonfire season. Its own members and visiting bonfire societies in costume carry flaming torches through the streets, and the night ends with a bonfire, an effigy and fireworks on the beach.
