Hop tu Naa is the Manx celebration of the old Celtic new year at the end of October, older than the modern Halloween. At Cregneash visitors carve turnip lanterns, known as moots, and hear Manx music, dances, stories and the old superstitions of the season.

Where
Cregneash Folk Village
The festival runs through the cottages and farm buildings of Cregneash Folk Village in the south of the island, in two sessions, 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00. Tickets are sold by Manx National Heritage; some activities are outdoors on uneven ground.
