About

Lanimer Day grew out of the burgh’s inspection of its boundaries, the land marches, which is still ridden earlier in Lanimer week. The Thursday brings one of the largest processions of its kind in Scotland, followed by the crowning of the Lanimer Queen and the Lord Cornet’s declaration.
