The race starts at 09:00 sharp from the Serpentine Swimming Club's landing stage by the Lido on the south side of the lake; watch from the bank, and arrive by about 08:30.

About

Members of the Serpentine Swimming Club have raced across the lake in Hyde Park on Christmas morning since 1864, whatever the weather. J M Barrie first gave the Peter Pan Cup in 1903, and the 100 yard handicap race is still swum for it; only club members may race.
