Eggs are rolled down the slopes of Avenham Park on the hour, every hour, from 11:00 to 16:00. Bring a decorated hard boiled egg; the slopes are steep and can be muddy.

About

Prestonians have rolled pace eggs, traditionally dyed with onion skins, down the slopes of Avenham Park on Easter Monday since at least the 1860s. The council now runs it as a free family day with music, workshops and performances alongside the egg rolling.
