Britain’s smallest city celebrates its patron saint with an annual Dragon Parade on the Saturday nearest St David’s Day. Schoolchildren, community groups and residents process behind handmade dragons, giant daffodils and banners made in free workshops at Oriel y Parc, with samba drummers and the Mayor of St Davids. The Journey of the Legends, the story of the Twrch and the red dragon, is told in the courtyard before and after.
